Nice letter...but for someone to say they pay $25k per year for the last 10 years for season tickets and also say they are not wealthy...well I guess their definition of wealthy is far different than mine.

How can anyone care of they NHL loses 1 fan or 100 million? The NHL, as a hockey league, does not exist.

Not rich... Pays 25k a year for seasons tickets. Oh that makes a lot of sense.

Dear Eck.. I usually don't do this . but here goes.. I make less than 70 K a year. I cant afford tickets to any game let alone seasons. I have never won a stanley cup..I have never had the good fortune of playing pro hockey.I work a miserable 40 hour a week job with no chance of OT.. I hate what I do but do to marketplace I must shut up and punch the clock each day. I am divorced and my child never gets to rub noses with anyone in hockey. I looked forward to watching NHL each year as a stress relief and for enjoyment. I am not hurt I am PISSED off

I don't believe for one second that someone that "invested" in the social aspect of the game is done. This person, if there actually is a person, seems like a wannabe "real housewife of the NHL" and isn't giving that up so quickly.
